Athletic wear is fine for your first class. As you continue, a gi (uniform) will be required.
As well as the cultural benefits of learning classical martial arts, students learn a "street ready" and proven system of self-defence. The techniques we teach are effective against larger and stronger opponents. They are designed to keep you safe against unarmed, armed or multiple attackers.
Training at least 2-3 times per week is ideal for progression, but we offer flexible options to accommodate different schedules.
Results vary by individual, but most students notice improvements in fitness, coordination, and confidence within a few weeks.
